Volunteers Needed for Alternative Medicine Study

Volunteers are being sought by the Bastyr University AIDS Research Center to participate in the first comprehensive nationwide study on the use of alternative and complementary medicine to treat HIV and AIDS patients.

The landmark survey, funded by the National Institutes of Health Office of Alternative Medicine, seeks to gather information from 1,500-2,000 subjects from across the nation about their use of alternative treatments and therapies to learn which, if any, may slow disease progression, improve quality of life, or lead to a cure for HIV and AIDS.
