BMW, Komen Foundation Kick Off Breast Cancer Fund Drive

BMW and the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation are teaming up to increase funds for breast cancer research.

Through the program "Drive for the Cure," BMW of North America will donate $1 per mile test-driven at special events hosted by BMW dealerships through Oct. 31, 1997.

The contributions will be made by BMW on behalf of each test driver and will result in a $1 million gift being made to the Komen Foundation.

The program will kick off April 30, 1997, at the Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth.
