PMS Management Prevents Osteoporosis

Women who practice self-care to manage premenstrual syndrome (PMS) in their 20s, 30s, and 40s double their benefit by preventing osteoporosis later on.

How' "The foundation of PMS management is a healthy diet, regular exercise, and vitamin and mineral supplementation," explained Marla Ahlgrimm, R.Ph., President of PMS Access in Madison, Wisconsin. "These steps are also a fundamental part of reducing the likelihood that a woman will develop osteoporosis."
