Working Women Bring Attention To Health Issues

An increase in the number of female business leaders has helped bring more attention to women's health issues, according to Tipper Gore.

The wife of Vice President Al Gore told some 250 local businesswomen June 26, 1997, in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, that increased awareness and funding of breast cancer research is a prime example of their power.
