According to an abstract submitted by the author to the Sixty-Sixth Meeting of the Pacific Coast Obstetrical and Gynecological Society, held September 17-21, 1997, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, "Objective: The incidence of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) has gradually increased in younger patients. Concomitantly, with improved prenatal care and more diligent screening practices, there has been an increased frequency of CIN during pregnancy.
