Cervical Lesions in 263 HIV-Positive Women during 1990-1996 Period

According to an abstract submitted by the authors to the Sixth European Conference on Clinical Aspects and Treatment of HIV Infection, held October 11-15, 1997, in Hamburg, Germany, "Background of Study: From 1990 to 1996, 263 HIV-positive women (Mean age ± SD: 32.3 ± 6.72) [participated in a study of cervical lesions]. Their repartition into risk groups was heterosexual (43%), drug abusers (44%), post-transfusional (5%) and unknown (8%). 43 women died.
