According to an abstract submitted by the authors to the ACOG 46th Annual Clinical Meeting, held May 9-13, 1998, in New Orleans, Louisiana, "Objective: The purpose of this study was to report on the management outcome and the final pathology of initial nondiagnostic endometrial biopsies (insufficient tissue for diagnosis) in the evaluation of irregular uterine bleeding. Methods: From January 1992 to December 1995, all endometrial biopsies for irregular uterine bleeding at Jackson Memorial Hospital [Miami, Florida] were retrospectively reviewed.
