Alendronate Plus HRT Increased Bone Mass Compared to HRT Alone

Post-menopausal women with osteoporosis taking hormone replacement therapy (HRT) obtained greater increases in bone mass when FosamaxR (alendronate sodium) was added to their treatment, according to new research presented at the European Congress on Osteoporosis.
