Residual Effect of Clomiphene Citrate Enables Conception

Clomiphene citrate (CC) is an infertility drug used to induce ovulation. It is often used in cases of polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS).
C. Moran, of the Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social, and colleagues recently studied the effect of CC in the cycles following treatment withdrawal ("Effect of Clomiphene Citrate on Ovulation After Treatment Withdrawal," Arch Gynecol Obstet, 1998;261:117-120).
