Transvaginal Hydro Laparoscopy (THL) can be done on an office or outpatient basis and uses a specially designed CIRCON ACMI Veress needle/obturator/cannula set and 2.7 mm wide angle telescope.
The THL instrument system is autoclavable and allows telescope changes during the procedure for varying angles of view and optimal visualization. Normal saline is used to "float" the organs, providing excellent visualization of the lower pelvis.
