Women with Recurrent RUTI Diagnose, Treat Themselves Accurately

Women with recurrent urinary tract infections (RUTI), a common condition that affects one in five women, successfully diagnose and treat their infections without repeat laboratory tests and visits to the doctor, according to research presented at the 36th Annual Meeting of the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA) held November 12-15, 1998, in Denver, Colorado.
