Small Preclinical Study Shows Cervical Cancer Test 100% Sensitive

NMP179, a diagnostic test being developed by Matritech, Inc., has been shown in a small preclinical study to be 100 percent sensitive in detecting cancer in cervical tissues, having detected seven out of seven cancer specimens.

The study's results were presented December 16, 1998 at the annual meeting of the American Society for Cell Biology (ASBC), held in San Francisco, California.
