Study Seeks Participants With Premenstrual Syndrome

A study evaluating the efficacy of a new medication to relieve symptoms of premenstrual syndrome (PMS) is being conducted by researchers at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center in Philadelphia.

Study sites are located in southeastern Pennsylvania and nearby locations in New Jersey.

Eligible patients will be between 18- and 45-years-old and have regular menstrual cycles with such symptoms of PMS as water retention, headaches, depression, anxiety, and severe food cravings.
