The new product, developed and manufactured by Noven, is the smallest transdermal estrogen patch ever approved. The patch is expected to be marketed and sold in the U.S. by Vivelle Ventures LLC, a women's health products company jointly owned by Noven and Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation, beginning in the first half of 1999.
