Endometrial Tissue Culture Mimics in vivo Changes

Scientists from the University of Oklahoma announced at the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists 31st Annual Meeting that they have been able to develop a cell culture technique that mimics endometrial growth and differentiation.

The technique was presented in a presentation entitled, "An in vitro Representation of Endometrium Using Organotypic Culture: A Future Model for the Study of Endometrial Carcinogenesis." The conference was held from February 5-9, 2000, in San Diego, California.
