Tamoxifen Not Harmful to Endothelial Function

Scientists say that despite tamoxifen's estrogen agonist and antagonist characteristics, the drug is not harmful to endothelial function in postmenopausal breast cancer patients. To assess the potentially negative effect of tamoxifen on the cardiovascular system, Paul J.L. Ong and colleagues designed a study of 22 postmenopausal women with breast cancer.
