Dendritic Cell-Based Vaccine Evaluated

Researchers in the United States and Italy have evaluated an anti-cancer vaccine for its efficacy against ovarian cancer. Allessandro D. Santin and colleagues from the University of Arkansas and the Arkansas Cancer Research Center, Arkansas, USA, and the University of Brescia, Italy, assessed tumor-specific cytotoxic T-cell responses elicited by dendritic cell (DC)-based vaccines in patients with advanced ovarian cancer.
