Decreasing Estrogen in Perimenopause Doesn't Appear to Cause Impairment

Women going through perimenopause - the stage before menopause when sharp fluctuations in hormone levels can lead to symptoms like anxiety and depression - do not seem to have decreased levels of memory function due to decreased estrogen levels, according to researchers writing in Menopause - the Journal of the North American Menopause Society.

University of Washington researcher N.F.
