Consumption Diary is a Strategy for Assessing Micronutrients in Anorexia Nervosa

A good way to assess the micronutrient intake of women with anorexia nervosa is to have them record a diet history, researchers say.

Anorexia nervosa is a disorder that is mostly encountered in women and can lead to death if left untreated.

A report of the study, conducted by neuroendocrinologists at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, is published in the November 2000 edition of the International Journal of Eating Disorders in an article titled, "Assessment of macronutrient and micronutrient intake in women with anorexia nervosa."
