Wilex and Aventis sponsor a phase III clinical trial for high-risk breast cancer patients

Wilex AG and the Technical University of Munich announced the initiation of a phase III clinical trial enrolling 540 high risk patients with primary breast cancer sponsored by Wilex and Aventis Pharma Deutschland GmbH.

The randomized multicenter trial coordinated by the departments of gynecology at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and the Ludwig Maximilians University of Munich (LMU) will be conducted in up to 40 clinical sites across southern Germany under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Marion Kiechle ("Klinikum rechts der Isar," TUM) and Prof. Dr. Harald Sommer (LMU).
