Arimidex potential in treating postmenopausal women with early breast cancer

Research results published in The Lancet, provide important details on the potential for Arimidex (anastrazole) in the treatment of early breast cancer in postmenopausal women. The findings, reported in the journal's June 22, 2002, issue, are the first major peer-reviewed publication of the results of the ATAC (Arimidex, Tamoxifen Alone or in Combination) trial, the world's largest adjuvant breast cancer study of more than 9300 postmenopausal women in 21 countries.
