Interleukin-18 associated with obesity

by Maria G. Essig, MS, ELS, senior medical writer - Plasma levels of interleukin-18 (IL-18) were reduced by weight loss, indicating an association between the cytokine and obesity, according to a report in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism.
