Milestone payment received, 3Q performance reported

BioSante Pharmaceuticals, Inc., (BISP) announced that during the third quarter it received a clinical milestone payment of $950,000 from Solvay Pharmaceuticals, B.V., the licensee of BioSante's Bio-E/P-Gel topical hormone therapy. The milestone payment was made by Solvay as a result of progress in the development of Bio-E/P-Gel, a topical gel combination of estradiol (the bioidentical human estrogen) and progestogen for treatment of menopausal symptoms in women.
