Soy intake benefits homocysteine metabolism of premenopausal Japanese women

They also are a source of plant estrogens (phytoestrogens), which has raised questions about their effects in both pre- and postmenopausal women.

Now results of a study from Japan indicate that in premenopausal women, soy intake benefits homocysteine metabolism. The research was described in the Journal of Nutrition.
