Waiving current federal regulations, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services will allow Rhode Island to use money from the federally financed State Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP) for prenatal care through the state's RIte Care program.
RIte Care currently provides these services with money from the state's general revenue fund.
