HHS urges women to get regular preventive checkups

On May 12, more than 600 community health centers, hospitals, and other health care providers nationwide encouraged women to visit a health care professional as part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' (HHS) first National Women's Check-Up Day. The effort, scheduled for the day after Mother's Day, was part of the National Women's Health Week.
