New chemotherapy agent highlighted in oncology studies

Taxotere (docetaxel) Injection Concentrate, an active chemotherapy agent, showed positive results in various treatment regimens in early and advanced breast cancer according to numerous phase II and III clinical studies presented at the annual meeting of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO).

Among the studies involving Taxotere at this year's ASCO, several focused on the use of Taxotere to treat women with early stage breast cancer before (neoadjuvant) or after (adjuvant) surgery, as well as women with advanced disease.
