Survey reveals what women want in a birth control pill

According to recent surveys commissioned by Ortho-McNeil Pharmaceutical, Inc., maker of Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo (norgestimate/ethinyl estradiol) Tablets and the U.S. leader in women's healthcare products, women want a safe, effective pill with few side effects in the right dose to fit their needs.

While "the Pill" remains the most popular method of reversible birth control among American women and the top choice for women starting a new contraceptive, women surveyed expressed concern about unwanted side effects associated with taking the Pill.
