Company adds Paclitaxel Injection to its U.S. product line

Faulding Pharmaceutical Co. announced that it is in the process of adding Paclitaxel Injection to its line of oncology products and hopes to begin marketing the product in the United States in October.

The product is equivalent to Bristol-Myers Squibb's Taxol Injection and is a treatment for a number of cancer types including breast and ovarian.

Stuart Hinchen, president of Faulding Pharmaceutical Co., said, "The addition of Paclitaxel to our continually broadening product lines is a very exciting event because it demonstrates our commitment to meeting our customers' needs of gold standard products at a competitive price."
