FDA approves Ovidrel prefilled syringe for treatment

Serono, Inc., the U.S. affiliate of Serono S.A. (virt-x: SEO and NYSE: SRA), announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved the company's new pre-filled syringe for Ovidrel (choriogonadotropin alfa injection), making it the first liquid, ready-to-inject therapy for infertility treatment in the U.S.
