House of Brussels targets osteoporosis with chocolate

House of Brussels Chocolates (HBSL) is bringing its chocolate to the expanding health supplement/nutritional food market targeting medical diseases such as osteoporosis, perimenopause, and elevated cholesterol.

HBSL has been selected by Culinova, LLC, of Putnam Valley, New York, to manufacture a new line of nutritional supplement bars aimed at perimenopausal women.

The decision, according to HBSL, was based on its success with no-sugar-added chocolate. The company was contacted by Culinova to develop and manufacture a new line of chocolates containing a proprietary supplement group aimed at treating perimenopause, which is the difficult period prior...
