Women still confused, misinformed about HRT safety

Results of a small, nationwide, online survey of 648 women found that almost 70% of the women were confused about the safety of menopausal hormone therapy.

The survey results, released November 6, 2003, by the National Women's Health Resource Center (NWHRC), validate the aftermath of more than a year of negative news reports and demonstrate the need for a new era of menopause therapy tailored to each woman's specific needs, according to NWHRC.
