FDA clears next generation 5-day internal radiation therapy device

The latest version of the MammoSite device incorporates a number of enhanced design features, including a thinner catheter shaft and a smaller balloon profile that will provide an even less-invasive means of delivering partial breast irradiation to women with early stage breast cancer.
