Maker of skin lightening creams responds to TV statement on product dangers

Lorraine Kelly of GMTV, a popular U.K. morning show, recently ran a story on skin lightening creams and the dangers to women with colored skin. On the table in front of Lorraine was an old carton of Fade Out.

Fiona Price, brand manager of Fade Out at Fine Fragrances & Cosmetics says: "We would like to reassure consumers that this product comprised of old stock containing hydroquinone, which we have taken every precaution to remove from sale after this substance was banned in January 2001."
