Medical technology company receives financing to introduce BreastScanIR

Infrared Sciences Corporation (ISC) announced that it has completed a $1 million series A preferred stock financing, acquiring the capital necessary to introduce BreastScan IR to a broader market of doctors and patients.

Utilizing infrared imaging and proprietary software, BreastScan IR is designed to be used as an adjunctive test with mammography, ultrasound or clinical examination for the early detection of breast cancer.

"BreastScan IR unleashes the tremendous potential of infrared imaging as an accurate, easy-to-use early detection technology," explained ISC president Tom DiCicco.
