Study finds no etiologic role for H. pylori infection in interstitial cystitis

Helicobacter pylori infection isn't a cause of interstitial cystitis, report urologists in Turkey. According to F. Atug and colleagues, Marmara School of Medicine, Istanbul, "Several features [of interstitial cystitis [IC]) suggest that it may be an infectious disease and it has compelling similarities to chronic gastritis.
