APC8024 immunotherapy shows promise in advanced breast cancer

Dendreon Corp. (DNDN) announced results from two phase I studies demonstrating promising clinical activity of the company's investigational immunotherapy, APC8024, in HER2/neu positive advanced breast cancer. Michelle Melisko, MD, clinical instructor, Carol Franc Buck Breast Care Center, University of California Comprehensive Cancer Center, San Francisco, California, presented the findings at the 27th annual San Antonio (Texas) Breast Cancer Symposium.
