Aminolevulinic acid HCl combined with light improves treatment results

The combination of light and acid may improve skin treatment results. According to Lumenis Ltd., a global developer, manufacturer and seller of laser and light-based devices for medical, aesthetic, ophthalmic, dental and veterinary applications, recently presented clinical study results indicate photorejuvenation skin treatments using their IPL Quantum SR system can be enhanced by combining the light treatment with Levulan (aminolevulinic acid HCl) Kerastick.
