Company announces acceptance of DURIN IND application and clinical protocol

DURECT Corp. (DRRX), an emerging specialty-pharmaceutical systems company, and Voyager Pharmaceutical Corp., a privately held specialty-pharmaceutical company focused on diseases of aging, announced the acceptance of the investigational new drug application (IND) and clinical protocol by the FDA (U.S. Food and Drug Administration) for a DURIN-based leuprolide acetate treatment of Alzheimer disease under development.
