Adjuvant HT or chemotherapy choice should be offered to women with ER+ tumors

Researchers with Cancer Research UK say that premenopausal women with estrogen receptor-positive breast tumors should be offered the choice of either adjuvant hormone therapy or chemotherapy. L. Fallowfield and colleagues conducted a study to determine the treatment preferences (adjuvant goserelin or cyclophosphamide, methotrexate, and fluorouracil (CMF) chemotherapy) of healthy premenopausal women should they hypothetically develop estrogen-receptor (ER) positive early breast cancer.
