Intrauterine insemination recommended in early stages of endometriosis

A group of reproductive endocrinologists recommends use of intrauterine insemination before trying gamete intra-Fallopian transfer for infertility treatment in cases of early-stage endometriosis. "We compared the effectiveness of gamete intra-Fallopian transfer (GIFT) and intrauterine insemination (IUI) after controlled ovarian hyperstimulation (COH) in the treatment of infertility due to endometriosis.
