Findings describe new data in breast cancer research

Breast cancer research advances have been reported from Italy, Sweden and France. Study 1: Serum levels of insulin-like growth factor-I (IGF-I) were found to be higher in women with prior breast cancer, according to a study from Italy that also showed IGF-I and/or IGF binding protein-3 (IGFBP-3) levels are affected by women's age and reproductive and hormonal factors.
