HSP90-mimic peptide found by fingerprinting patients' antibodies

University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center oncologists report they've found a heat-shock protein 90 kDa-mimic peptide by molecular fingerprinting antibodies from ovarian cancer patients.

Their findings, they say, "show that screening humoral response can identify tumor antigens that may serve as molecular targets in ovarian cancer."
