Technology developed to diagnose risk of early-stage breast cancer recurrence

Sysmex Corporation, headquartered in Kobe, Japan, announced the development of a new technology based on a cell cycle profiling (C2P) for diagnosis of the risk of recurrence in patients with early-stage cancer. In a clinical study of about 200 cases conducted in collaboration with Shinzaburo Noguchi, Graduate School of Medicine, Osaka University, this technology was found to be a high degree of clinical usefulness in patients with early stages of breast cancer.
