Researchers note gender differences in management and experience of COPD

There are differences in the way men and women experience chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), as well as differences in their management of the disease. According to a study in a recent issue of the journal Respiratory Medicine, "Whether women receive the same medical care for COPD as men and if they are at risk of different outcomes as a result, is not known.
