Women gain slightly higher health benefit than men from imbibing alcohol

Women see a slightly higher health benefit over men from alcohol consumption. According to 12 separate studies reviewed recently in the Journal of Thrombosis and Haemostasis, "women see a slightly higher health benefit over men from alcohol consumption. More studies are needed, however, to determine if there are more significant results from wine, other spirits, or beer."
