New over-the-counter medication for vaginal infections introduced

Many women who assume they have yeast infections self-treat with over-the-couter (OTC) medications but could be doing more harm than good. Research has found that the majority of these women don't have a yeast infection at all. In fact, nearly half of all vaginal infections are bacterial vaginosis (BV), a bacterial overgrowth in the vagina. RepHresh Vaginal Gel, a new product from Lil' Drug Store Products, Inc., normalizes vaginal pH, which helps reduce the risk of BV.
