Medical imaging company plays role in clinical trial of drug for breast cancer

WorldCare Clinical, Inc., a provider of medical imaging solutions for clinical trials, announced that it had provided the imaging core laboratory services for Abraxane Injectable Suspension (paclitaxel protein-bound particles for injectable suspension) (albumin-bound), which was approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and is indicated for metastatic breast cancer.

Abraxine was developed by American Bioscience, Inc. (ABI) and manufactured and marketed by American Pharmaceutical Partners, Inc. (APPX).
