Researchers' findings advance osteoporosis research

Investigators in 2004;36(11):1985-1996), Japan and the United Kingdom have published new osteoporosis data. Study 1: The American College of Sports Medicine recently issued guidelines on physical activity to protect bone health. Included in these is the recommendation that even physically active postmenopausal women should take medication to prevent osteoporosis.
