Researchers' data advance cervical cancer research

Data on cervical cancer are outlined in reports from Finland, Sweden and Switzerland. Study 1: Survival rate of patients with preinvasive lesions of cervix uteri is high, according to an analysis of data from a Finnish 50-year follow-up study. "Preinvasive lesions of cervix uteri are regarded a curable disease despite some progression to invasive cancer. The ultimate outcome is not known.
